So, on this fine day I rejoice in the blessings of the Lord. Look how beautiful the sun is shinning in the perfectly clear blue sky. After church, we were sitting down eating lunch about to start homework when Dustin announced he was going to go till the garden (gotta get ready to plant those yummy fruits and veggies). So, I followed him so I could document the fun he was to have on his new (old) tractor he was given by his sweet grandaddy.
By the way, I love the fact that I'm married to a man who loves to get his hands dirty (and is the most handsome man alive while getting dirty)...I love my Southern Farmer Man! See, even when given a choice what to pose in, I choose a country (farming) outfit. So proud to be a southern gal (now...suppressing my chilly northern roots).
Dustin begins by giggling (seriously) and riding his tractor to the garden. He was so excited. On this dry, clear day tilling seemed hopeful since we were finally rain free.
But, soon into his fun, he realized this 30 minutes of work (as he stated how long this procrastination from homework should take), would not work out as planned. Notice Dustin's frustration on his face...the soil is still too wet to till!
Here's some "at least he tried" pictures of my farming man!
Maybe he can try again on the next sunny day...Isn't it cool God allows us to join him in creation (growing our own yummy food!)
